IN MY SHOES.

I am a mommy to the two sweetest girls I’ve ever known who keep my life in perspective. I have a full-time job that is always exhilarating, although sometimes exhausting. I live by color-coded, perfectly written checklists. I am a creative writer/designer/dreamer/doer.

Running is my therapy, my “me time”, and something that has become part of who I am. I am blessed to be the wife of a husband who—for some reason—loves me in all my workaholic, color-coded crazy Type A, competitive glory. And he makes me feel like superwoman for all that I do.

I know that who I am is the direct result of God’s divine grace, my parents’ tender loving military discipline, and a little Southern charm.

Whether I am pounding the pavement in running shoes, rocking my to-do list in high heels, or making memories with my family in bare feet, I pray that every step I take leads me further along the path that God has set before me.
